About the National Telecom Provider:
National Telecom Provider supports enterprise infrastructure rollouts across California, enabling large businesses to modernise networks, edge environments, and digital workplaces. We are seeking Field Deployment Technicians to support active multi-site implementation work.
Role Overview:
As a Field Deployment Technician, you will deliver on-site installations and break/fix within enterprise environments. You will work from a defined rollout schedule and follow structured SOPs, reporting progress back to central delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and rack network equipment, including switches, APs, routers, and firewalls
Perform structured cabling, patching, and labelling to enterprise standards
Support AV/UC room installs and hardware swaps where required
Execute site surveys, readiness checks, and stock audits
Run basic device configuration scripts and validation tests
Troubleshoot physical layer and device connectivity issues
Log progress and evidence through project tools
Escalate risks and blockers quickly to field leads
Qualifications:
3+ years’ field deployment experience in enterprise or telecom settings
Skilled in cabling, racking, patching, and site documentation
Comfortable with travel across California client sites
Basic networking knowledge (IP, VLANs, PoE, Wi-Fi fundamentals)
Strong attention to detail and evidence-based delivery
Certifications (CCNA, BICSI, AVIXA, OEM vendor) a plus
