About the Global Systems Integrator:
The client designs, deploys, and operates complex network environments for Fortune 1000 clients, with a focus on reliability, security, and modern workplace connectivity. We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support a multi-site network upgrade programme.
Role Overview:
As a Network Engineer, you will deliver hands-on networking work across campus and WAN environments. You will support design validation, configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting, working closely with solution architects, project managers, and field teams to ensure smooth delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure and deploy enterprise routing, switching, and wireless solutions across multiple client sites
Support WAN and SD-WAN rollouts, including policy design and edge device staging
Perform network migrations, cutovers, and post-deployment validation
Troubleshoot complex L2/L3 issues and provide rapid incident resolution
Document configurations, as-built designs, and operational handover packs
Collaborate with security and cloud teams to ensure network alignment
Support site surveys and readiness assessments where needed
Provide clear project updates and risk reporting to delivery leads
Qualifications:
Proven enterprise network engineering experience across WAN and campus environments
Strong knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, or Aruba switching/routing stacks
SD-WAN deployment experience (Meraki, Viptela, Silver Peak, Fortinet, or similar)
Hands-on troubleshooting skills in complex environments
Familiarity with network security controls and segmentation best practice
Able to work independently and within distributed project teams
Relevant certifications (CCNA/CCNP or equivalent) preferred
California-based or willing to travel across client sites
